About the event
Join us at the new boat ramp in Delta along the Gunnison River – Crane's Landing on G50 Road. We'll do some willow planting along the riverbank, care for young cottonwood trees and shrubs, and determine what's next for this habitat restoration project. Bring your work gloves! If you are a birder, bring your binoculars - we need help monitoring bird populations in the habitat area.
If you can't volunteer, join us for the après – bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy the river and learn more about this project that celebrates recreation in balance with conservation and stewardship.
