Volunteer Day
On April 22nd, which is Earth Day and also falls during National Volunteer and National Park weeks, we're looking for help with an amphitheater project. The Saddlehorn Amphitheater reopened last summer after extensive construction and renovation. However, the benches are in need of some TLC. We're looking for folks who would be willing to come sand down the benches on April 22nd. They're just a bit splintery and not all that comfortable to sit on.
All equipment, including sanding gear, masks, gloves, eye protection, and shade canopies will be provided. CMNA is also providing snacks for everyone.
Funding for this project comes from a grant that CMNA won from Western Slope Outdoor Volunteers (WSOV). The grant covers the material and equipment costs for the amphitheater bench restoration.
