About the event

When: Thursday & Friday, February 20th-21st (16 hours total

Where: Dinosaur Hill Pavilion; McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area

What: The 7 Leave No Trace principles are guiding ethics on how to recreate responsibly in the outdoors. These principles are important to anyone who enjoys the outdoors - volunteer included! As you volunteer on your public lands, we want to make sure you are role models for demonstrating the LNT principles & spreading awareness to other visitors. In this course, you will gain the tools to successfully share and teach your own LNT Awareness course.


This course is valued at $200/person, with very limited spots. Please only register if you are absolutely sure you will be able to attend (for all 16 hours). 

You should come prepared for ~2 miles of light hiking, as 10 of the 16 hours will be spent outside. Indoor location TBD, but please dress warmly and dress i…
