Join CCA and our friends at Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and the Western Colorado Climber Coalition on Friday, November 7th for our annual highway clean-up—this year along Hwy 141 in Dominguez-Escalante!

About the event
When: Friday, November 7th from 12pm - 2pm
Where: Meet at the Cactus Park Staging Area(turn off HWY 141, Eastbound side)
What you’ll be doing: CCA has adopted a section of highway along Dominguez-Escalante NCA from mile marker 145-147 Near the Cactus Park turn-off. Although it may not sound glamorous, keeping the highway clean is essential to protecting the landscape of the bordering NCA. Whether an animal ingests plastic or trash blows further into the NCA, you can do your part in keeping Dominguez-Escalante pristine. Expect ~2 miles of walking along the highway as we bag trash.
Please bring: Water, work gloves, long pants, closed-toed shoes, and a trash picker (optional)
We’ll provide: Trash bags, disposable gloves, tools, and orange vests.
